The answer varies from student to student based on their individual skill/teaching capacity.
In the same vein, I can not stress how important it is to have patience and good practice techniques throughout your drawing history. There is no point in wasting time waiting for things to turn out well to your satisfaction. If something doesn’t look right, then correct it and try another technique that works better.
It also helps to have some practice with the basic shapes and proportions, so you can adjust these aspects as you become proficient in them.
