According to K-pop’s largest search engine “BTS” the average annual salary of a rapper and their agency has gone up considerably!
They are reported to make around $9.5 million!

If you are a musician, it is not unusual for you to be paid in royalties.
As such I thought it was a great idea to ask some famous musicians about what is their salary rate and how have they worked out?

They earn $400,000 a year for 2 years.
2) IU – IU
She earns $350,000 a year as leader of Girl’s Day.
3) J-Hope – J-Hope
He earns $400,000 as lead singer of “Gangnam Style”.
4) SHINee – SHINee
They earn $375,000 a year as CEO for their agency. $250,000 will come from royalties, $75,000 from performances and $150,000 for promotions. $100,000 goes into their training budget, $25,000 goes into their “KARA” team, $20,000 is for “Shinsadong Zomei” and $1,000,000 is paid to them as executive producer.
5) Super Junior – Sehun
They earn $300,000 a year for 5 years.
6) T-ara – Yoona
She earns $175,000 a year for 5 years.
7) EXO – Taeyeon
They earn $150,000 a year as leader of SM.
8) Red Velvet – WINNER
We can hear a lot of gossip on their income and it is a bit scary though. They could be up to over $200 million.
9) Super Junior – Super Junior
They earn $200,000 a year as CEO of SM Entertainment.
10) Wonder Girls – Wonder Girls
They make over $200,000 a year for 6 years.
