No, unless you are a professional and have a university-level degree.

Is it practical to learn guitar?
If you aren’t sure if this is the course for you, don’t worry. You don’t have to do it. It won’t hurt to read through various reviews and hear people tell you good things. Or ask some friends who’ve been practicing. It’s not about what you like, and it’s not about what others say.
If you want a course for people who like playing or don’t particularly like guitar (and we hope you don’t!), check out Guitarism, a video series from our old site about teaching guitars over Skype or Skype Chat. You won’t regret it!
Does it cost anything?
No. You pay just for the course. After the free trial expires, the cost will apply as part of your course fee.
Will I learn guitar on my iPad?
Most students will learn through iTunes and other apps, but if you’re looking for a course that is hands-on, you’ll need a mouse. In fact, we even have a course on learning by hand and playing bass guitar.
Can I take this course for two or three times and keep it fresh?
The answer to this is more complicated, but the truth is, as you learn, the course will improve the more you practice.
At the beginning, the content can be hard. It might take days or weeks to master the information. As you practice with more questions and answers, things get easier and that’s when you need to switch your practice tools. Start doing everything with your guitar, then move to playing your keyboard, drums, and more.
The more you’re playing, the more it will help you to build your chops, and the faster you will learn.
What happens if I don’t take this course?
If your goal is to continue your journey by learning guitar, we recommend you read the information on our course page and follow those instructions to follow the program to completion. But that doesn’t mean you can quit or take on any project that doesn’t include the course. You’ll need to take on some projects in your free lessons to keep learning.
