In my previous post, we looked at the basic rules for a two-dimensional representation of space. In this post, we move onto a more complex representation that includes the properties of two additional dimensions. However, while the simple representations we’re given are suitable for two-dimensional functions, they become less suitable for higher dimensions. In fact, they are much more prone to misbehaviour. And yet, there are several things you can do with them.
In this post, I’ve looked at four common problems with the two-dimensional representations of space. In all cases, the answer is a combination of some more common properties, where I’ve tried to be as helpful as possible.
